There are multiple different headache types including migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, sinus headaches, and hemicrania continua.

Tension-type headaches are the most common type of headache, followed by migraine, and cluster headache.  Medication overuse headache or rebound headache is another common but not very well known headache type.
